4Foot11 was born out of the regular recommendation of our many sisters and sister-in-laws telling Lindsey she needed to open a shop to share her work with the world. Lindsey has always enjoyed the process of designing and implementing a fun craft, home project, or handmade custom gift.  After having our third "nibbling" (what we like to collectively call a niece or nephew), Lindsey and I decided to start preparations for a way to share with the world the gifts Lindsey passionately makes for each of our nibblings. While stumped on a name for our shop, I suggested we name the store after one of our designers permanent physical traits: her height. Through 10 years of friendship and five great years of marriage, Lindsey has taught me that fun truly comes in a 4 Foot 11 package. We have MANY ideas in the pipeline and creations being made as I type, so make sure you check back with us regularly.

After about a 2 year hiatus between having our second child, selling our home, and currently in the process of building our new home on 6 acres in Rhome I am excited to be getting back to designing! My availability will be limited at first, as I still have many house projects to tackle! But so looking forward to working with all of you again and meeting some new faces!
